A Free and Simple method to use the new rupee symbol in your computer and wordprocessor.
Download the “rupee font” from http://blog.foradian.com/rupee-font-version-20
Install to “Fonts” folder of your PC
Open your word processor and select the Rupee font
We mapped the grave acent symbol – ` (the key just above "tab" button in your keyboard) with the new Rupee symbol.
Just select "Rupee" font from the drop down list of your fonts in your application and press the key just above your tab button. It will display the new rupee symbol of India. Try it.
