Live video on domain research, hosting and wordpress setup. After keyword research procedure I pick up words for my domain in domainsbot.com. Really cool site for finding avaliable keyword options with all major extensions. And if desired domain name is not avaliable, it shows you alternative domain names to pick up.
Now when I have domain name avaliable, I purchase it at domain name reseller. I started with Godaddy, but later I moved on to namecheap.com. Decide was made since namecheap has affiliate program and included whois guard protection free for 1st year. That means when someone tries to find out details about your dopmain, the owner`s details are hidden.
So when we have domain, we have to point that domain name to domain name servers, where the site`s data will be. Since I bought domains at namecheap.org and I have hosting at Host gator, I must sign inside namecheap the servers`s name of the Host gator servers.
Why Host gator, i read all possible reviews and I found it as the most reliable hosting service. And it didnt disapoint me yet. Just opposite, when I am in trouble with something , I approach Host gator support center, where you communicate with their support with live typing. So far I had not many problems but when I had it as a learning curve, all my problems were solved in a no time. So having that kind of support is very big plus for Host gator from me.
When applying for hosting account at Host gator, be carefull to take baby plan, since you can host unlimited domains. That goes for addon domains, which are all hosted under the same IP and controled through the same Cpanel. Of course they have also reseller acount, where you can host different Ips domains.
When in Cpanel of your hosting account, you assign a new domain, to tell your hosting in which directory to put datas of this domain.
When that is done, next step is to set up wordpress. You accomplish that with Fantastico, which does all the job for you, with a few clicks. And in just few seconds, you very first wordpress is up 
So you see, setting up your own wordpress blog is aint no big thing. Actually I found it extremly friendly to use, cause you must be aware, that the whole technology and its applications on internet are ready for average Joe to use it. So now you know there is no tricks and no special technical knowledge about it, you are ready to finally put your own virtual property on the world wide web.

http://Ryans1.com How to Install a WordPress Blog Hi my name is Ryan and welcome to my video on how to create a wordpress blog. On this video, I presume you already have a domain and Web hosting. So the next step is to get a couple of more things. The first is to download the files for your blog from the wordpress website. By going to wordpress.org And hit download. It will take you to a page where you can download WordPress 2.7, which is the latest wordpress platform. Download this to your computer, and you can unzip that into a folder. That will put all of the files you need for your blog onto your computer. Now, the next thing you need to do is get this on to the Internet. So you need an FTP program to upload those files, I used filezilla. You can get for free by typing the FileZilla into Google. It’s the first result that comes up in Google, and you want to download the FileZilla client. On that page it will be the first one under Windows FileZilla-3.1.6-win-32-setup. Once you have FileZilla and all your word press files. You will want to log into your hosting account and create a database to hold your new blog. Log into your account and create a new database. It may look different depending on what Web hosting company you use. It will ask you to create a database description database user name and enter a password for the database. Once you have created a database go back to the word press files on your computer and look for wp-config-sample, now renamed that file to remove sample from the end so that file reads just w-p-config. Now double-click on it and open in notepad, and change the database name user name and password by copying and pasting from where you set up your database in your control panel to the exact same database name and password that you used to create the database. When you create your database, you will also get a local host name that you can copy and paste here too. Next log into FileZilla and locate the directory where you saved the word press files. Create a blog using free software from wordpress.org and get tips on why, if you want to become a serious blogger, if you want to make money with your blog or, if you want to control your blog, then using free blogs such as blogger.com or wordpress.com is NOT an option … You must own your blog.
Here’s why …if you use hosted solutions such as blogger.com or wordpress.com, they can delete your site without your permission and there is nothing you can do about it. Also, using hosted sites to host your blog means that you have limited opportunities of monetizing your blog because some of them don’t allow you to make the most of advertising with say Google AdSense.
WordPress.com for example makes it very clear that it is against their terms of service to commercialize your WordPress.com hosted blog by hosting paid advertising and will result in your blog being deleted.
In fact, I’ve just been reading one forum where there is a reader called “Rainmaker” and he seems to have made it his job to report people who are commercializing their WordPress blogs and within no time, their sites have been deleted by WordPress. So don’t say you haven’t been warned.
What you need to do is go to WordPress.org and download their free software and then upload the software to the server where you have your own hosting account, using your own domain name. Alternatively, you can use the automated feature found in many control panel web hosts – fantastico.
So, whilst WordPress is the software I recommend for your blogs, you should not confuse this with their hosted solutions where you simply log into their control panel, create a user name and password and suddenly, you have a blog that in my view, you don’t own.
The software that you download from WordPress.org is quite simply powerful and, once I show you how, you’ll realize it’s also easy to use and in my opinion is unparalleled in the blog software world. WordPress is not only my software of choice it is used my many of the top Internet Marketers because it’s simple enough for the newbie to use, yet sophisticated enough for the pro blogger.
WordPress has a huge library of plugins that allows users to instantly add features, and functions to give it even more flexibility and, when you add up all these elements you end up with a program that is fully capable of creating highly attractive blogs that encourage people to visit the site and stay to read whatever is posted on it. If you ever wanted powerful blog software that was able to give you the opportunity of creating a more unique look and feel, WordPress is it.
To get Get Started With A WordPress Blog and uming you’re going to go along with my recommendation of building a WordPress blog on your own hosting account, you’ll need a domain name which you can get from godaddy.com and a hosting account which you can get from hostgator.com.
